10 AM - Rituals, Alters and Offerings for a Botanically Sacred Home with Malia Thompson

$50.00

Tap into the Power of herbs and natural materials and bring abundance, joy, protection, and meaning into your home with simple and practical rituals.  We will talk about the materials you will need, the timing of rituals, attunement, visualization, and enchantment of herbs (aligning the vibrations of your herbs to your needs). We will also discuss the creation and use of alters, sachets, teas and other infusions, oils, and incense to use in your rituals. Adding intention and ritual to everyday chores brings magic, meaning and simple joy into our lives.

Add Rosemary or Thyme to your herbal cleaning infusion to bring in the Power of purification, protection, love, and sleep into your home as you clean the floors. Burn sage, then palo santo to clear stuck/stagnant energy and call in fresh new energy into your home after the winter months of being indoors more. Create an alter with that stone, twig, leaf, and feather you found on your last hike to honor your gratitude for the simple things in life.

The workshop also includes a Naturally Clean Home Herbal Home Care Solutions recipe booklet, as well as other handouts and resources for removing toxic items from our home and bringing in cleaner, healthier and more vibrant items, rituals and intentions.

Malia Thompson’s interest in foods and herbs as medicinals developed during her college days in Durango, Colorado. Malia loves learning about the many healing uses for foods, herbs and spices commonly found in most kitchens. She received her training in the Vitalist tradition of western herbalism at the Colorado School for Clinical Herbalism in Boulder, Colorado and hold Certificates in Clinical Nutrition and Clinical Herbalism. Growing her own herbs to make formulations and products is a very important part of her herbalist process. Malia’s other creative outlets include making art, sneaky healthy cooking (“kick-a** drumsticks” to name one), plant identification and admiration, medicine making, hikes in the mountains, and taking photos of flowers, bugs and anything interesting.
