1 PM - Sacred Circles: Finding Relationships to Earth Through Plants with Martin Ogle
How can symbols and art help us understand our world and each other? Join naturalist Martin Ogle, for a fascinating look at how symbols connected cultures around the world to the places on Earth from which they arose . . . including, and importantly, plants. Explore how ancient motifs – and the creation of our own symbols – can help us appreciate modern-day relationships between families, communities and Earth’s living systems.
This program will include a discussion, an overview of Three Leaf Farms Medicine Wheel and a short walk to explore symbolism and stories about or related to plants nearby.
